“The Porphyrophobe” or fear of the color purple, is an illustrated art panel which is part of a series of prints celebrating irrational fears by associating them with humor and irony. I used a Holga film camera because they are synonymous with individuality and unique self-expression and yet are uniform and mass-produced, much like people’s greatest fears.

These panels are fun on their own, but when they are combined in the full series, they are are a great wall accent and conversation piece.
Some doodles of my favorite camera from my past. The elusive Holga, which when it was introduced to me, was still cool and relatively unknown. Now you can buy 10 different types of Holga at Urban Outfitters, which is sad, but in a different way.
