Heavenly Bodies: A Collection of Greek and Roman Gods Character Illustrations
(from a friend’s etsy store)
A new series of prints centered around the Olympians, the Greek gods and their later Roman equivalents. Each god/goddess is painted and styled as a roman marble statue, with alabaster skin and draped in chiseled cloth. They rest within a heavenly sphere floating on a cloud textured background. Accompanying the god/goddess is an outlined item pertaining to the iconography or myth of each god.

A celestial celebration! Part of a new series of posters from graphic artist Christian Petersen, the Terrestrial Planets Print features all of our terrestrial (rocky) planets—Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars—in a simple, pared-down design. Printed on high-quality matte paper, this poster is sturdy enough for wall mounting but worthy enough to frame.
I was concerned I was not delivering Ghibli art fast enough, so well be debuting the whole Miyazaki series of minimalist posters soon.
Movie poster inspired by icons from the novelization of the Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. The door to Bag End is encased in the slightly-rotated One Ring. The faintest glimmer of elven script is also visible on the ring.
Sherlock minimalist poster art, by TheGeekerie
It’s a favourite of mine again, Geekographer AKA Christian Petersen, who has produced the Sherlock series by the BBC in poster form. If I had it my way, my wall (tumblr & literal) would be covered in his stuff. In the meantime while I gather my money to throw at him, check out his tumblr here.
Gorgeous gallery of my Sherlock prints, never occurred to me to actually post them all together like this! I love the flanking silhouettes! Thanks to chris-brook!
Our Doctor Who minimalist posters were featured in this great gallery from Gawker media.

Excerpt from justadashofgeek.com “I have said this before, I love art. I love all different types of art, specially when they have Geek themes. So, it is no wonder why I am head over heals for The Geekerie. The Geekerie takes many of my beloved movies and geek things and twists them into a classy Modern/Retro/Vintage art prints. I am so happy that they agreed to be a part of the 2012 Holiday Gift Guide for Geeks. The Geekerie asked me to pick out 2 prints for the review….”
