Project Arboreal: A series of fine art prints designed using ink and painted textures and brushes and used to fill outlines of many exotic and common tree silhouettes. This print features a large desert palm and a golden/red colored texture fill. Each print also features a highly-detailed mock matte frame texture.
“The Porphyrophobe” or fear of the color purple, is an illustrated art panel which is part of a series of prints celebrating irrational fears by associating them with humor and irony. I used a Holga film camera because they are synonymous with individuality and unique self-expression and yet are uniform and mass-produced, much like people’s greatest fears.
