Dreams
A few years ago I was approached by a husband who wanted something unique, special, and funny for his wife for their anniversary. This was our solution and it’s pretty timeless, in my opinion. Just as the incomparable Hall and Oates, this design will never slip into obscurity.
ICONOGRAPHIC MOVIE POSTERS: Fantasy in the ’80s
A collection of black and white iconographic pictograph prints inspired by some timeless ’80s cult films. Such films as Little Monsters, Willow, The Karate Kid, and The Goonies were the films of legend during my childhood. I pay tribute to them now with these minimalist iconographic prints.
Part of a collection of black and white iconographic prints inspired by some timeless cult films. Little Monsters was a great film about adventure, discovery, and appreciation of one’s family. But, above all else, it was about the world of monsters which live under our beds.

Excerpt from justadashofgeek.com “I have said this before, I love art. I love all different types of art, specially when they have Geek themes. So, it is no wonder why I am head over heals for The Geekerie. The Geekerie takes many of my beloved movies and geek things and twists them into a classy Modern/Retro/Vintage art prints. I am so happy that they agreed to be a part of the 2012 Holiday Gift Guide for Geeks. The Geekerie asked me to pick out 2 prints for the review….”

Hauntingly beautiful and thought-provoking, this classic print captures the elegance, mystery, and romance of the movie, Labyrinth. A great piece of art for the imaginative soul, it invites a bit of science fiction and fantasy into your home.
This weekend I was stricken with this amazing idea of creating posters inspired by MacGyver and his amazing array of simple tools used to solve complex and often disastrous plots points.
Nothing yet for visuals, but I’m putting it out there for responses. I’m thinking, for example…
The McHanglider
Items Available: Fallen U.S. intelligence satellite, its parachute, duct tape.
Invention: Hang glider.
Awesome Level: 7.5 out of 10
Each poster would have an illustration of the completed invention as well as some call-outs to key properties of each item.
I think I could turn this into some pretty interesting and fun posters!!
Now I’m gonna go MacGyver some new art!
